Hawaii!!..warning lots of pictures!

Okay since I have lots of pictures I won't say much besides we had an amazing time! The weather was wonderful, sunny and warm, the food was so good (I now am in love with mango), and it was just so nice to get away!! Here is proof of our fun trip!

On the plane, ready to go!

The living and dining room where we stayed.

The kitchen. It was so nice to have our own place to come back to, instead of a hotel. We were able to buy groceries and make breakfast and lunches instead of always eating out!

The backyard! We really were out in the jungle!

Here is the first beach we stopped at after leaving the airport. It is Kailua beach on the East side of the island.

These are such cool trees. This is an area to a beach that was in the movie Blue Crush, if you have ever seen it!

Turtle Beach
These Turtles were so cool to see. They all had names and all of them were around 30 years old.

Coy fish at the Dole Plantation. They were begging for us to feed them. Very spoiled fish!

Waikiki! This is a statue of Duke, who was a famous Hawaiian surfer.

Lanikai...our favorite beach! the sand was amazing, the water perfect and we loved it!!

My new favorite food! O so good!

These 2 pictures are of Sharks Cove where we went snorkeling. We were able to see lots of fish and Chris was able to see a sea turtle as well.

Laie Point

A nice little hut we found on a beach in Laie...right down from Hukilau beach.

Turtle Bay

We went on a hike to Maunawili Falls. The day before we went rained a bit, so it was pretty muddy and the trail was completely covered with tree roots. It was such a pretty hike and nice to be out in the jungle!
Chris did go and jump off the waterfall, but since we didn't take swimsuits I did not want to hike back to the car completely soaked through!

A block away from where we stayed there was this house blocked off from the street by hedges and trees. It had nice columns and a locked gate to get in. From what we could see it looked amazingly nice and we really wanted to see if we could see the house. So Chris decided to climb a tree and see if he could see anything. Of course he couldn't, there was some building in the way. I think I am going to go and google map it and see what we can find! We loved the neighborhood we stayed in! So nice to be out of the city and in a quiet country area!

Yummy Yummy Matsumoto Shave Ice!! I loved Haleiwa. It was my favorite town to go to!

Here we are at the Polynesian Cultural Center.

So So funny!

Trying to make fire! He did get smoke, but no flame!

I was called up on stage since I had an April birthday and they made us all dance...video to come soon!

Chris in Tonga!

The beautiful temple.

Waimea Bay.

Here is the sand crab I stalked to get video of him!

Pearl Harbor. We didn't pay to go on any of the ships, but we still walked around and saw lots of cool stuff.

This is so creepy. This is a suicide torpedo from Japan. One person would be inside to direct it where it needed to go...ughhh so creepy.

Hanauma Bay...i can't spell! This place cost 13 per person to go so we just took pictures. Beautiful, but we didn't want to pay to go to the beach!
A cool blow hole! I don't remember the name.
This Buddhist temple was amazing.

I loved how Chickens were everywhere!

Local gas stations and convenience stores appear to be newport cigarettes experiencing an uptick in sales over the last couple of weeks as the Oneida Indian Nation’s supply of mainstream brand cigarettes dwindles. But earlier this year Kinley Tshering, then a media consultant in the capital, Thimphu, discussed with friends over drinks the jailing of a Buddhist monk for three years for possessing $3 worth of tobacco, one of the first to be prosecuted under a new law banning public smoking cheap newport cigarettes.
